Serving you in the Tennessee House is my greatest honor, and I am pleased with the great things we accomplished in the 106th General Assembly. We crafted a state budget that did not include any tax increases or new taxes, protected education, and reduced state spending. I know that Tennesseans are concerned about jobs, and we worked hard this year to ensure that Tennessee continues to foster a climate that encourages job growth by keeping Tennessee a low tax state.

Creating new jobs and getting Tennessee’s economy moving again requires government to support the private sector, not impede it. We do not need to increase or implement new taxes, or place more burdens on small businesses. As your State Representative, you can count on me to work hard for the people of Washington County and always work to reduce the size and scope of government.
